For the month of March, I spent $786 in gas alone. The V8 sure loves to drink.

shit dude, that's a nice car. The 300M eats about $60-70 a week. I drive Thornhill to Scarborough on weekdays.

That's not bad, what year is the 300? I drive Scarborough to Richmondhill/Thornhill daily. Highway driving is no problem, I can go 160km/h all the way to Richmondhill and it uses 2L of gas...city cruising on the other hand is a bitch.

By the way, thanks for the praise (Y)

Yea, it is. I owned a 1992 VW Jetta previously, and I left it in my garage for 6 months. First crank, it started.

I'm looking at a BMW 7 Series next, I'm addicted to big cars.

Nice nice, sure beats those new 300's that look like a poor man's Bentley. But yea, big cars, you definetly need to pay to play

Man, those things with 5.7 V8 Hemi's will put those poor men farther than the poor house...I would never get one of those.

Actually, the gas mileage isn't bad on the Hemi due to it's shutoff system. When cruising, it shuts off 4 cylinders so you're running on half the power.

Yeah, that true...but still the car itself is massive, so 4 cylindeers will have to work pretty hard to haul that frame.

Yea, it gets 17/25 MPG on average (city/freeway). But, highway cruising is great for V8s, they barely work so you save a crap load. Either way, it's a known fact, the bigger the car, the more gas you're going to use.

not really , its more weight to power ratio, take the nissan altima for example, comes in 3 models,
2.5, 3.5 and se-r
se-r does the best fuel combination because its the most powerful engine on the same chasis and body as the other 2

its just how much ur pushing and how much u need to push to get ur car going with ease
