because society has set different standarts for such occurences, saying that men shouln't care because they are already generalized for comminting more acts of adultery, which isnt true, but it still does let off the so called 'pressure' or many may call it guilt. That men are easier forgiven by the society's standarts for commiting adultery than women.

no, both men and women are equal, its just that by society's standarts when men commit adultery they dont get 'penilized' as much as women do. Because as stated by the society(mostly media), that men are assholes, and since its shown to everybody, everybody accepts it as it is, and lower the standarts for men... that is a guy is acting as an asshole, society wouldn't care, because its in his 'DNA' ... Women, on the other hand are completely different from men... women do have more tendency to cheat than men, but its not like men dont do it either, its just that by the society (media), women are portrayed as a 'tool' which should be used by only one man, unless the tool is worn out, or there is a better one on the market... so blame the media
