You were comparing his $50,000-60,000 car to yours. I don't see how mine would be out of the same comparison.

Tamir, there is no way that a 150$ set of springs will improve your handling.

#1 - Your camber will be out of whack.

#2 - Your suspension travel just got cut, but you kept the stock shocks. So your shocks are already compressed by about another 20% at lest if you dropped the front/ rear by 1.5"-2". Everytime you'd take a hard corner you'd get body roll like a bitch thanks to that fact.

#3 - If you actually do want to improve handling, a good set of coilovers like Cusco offers would do the trick for everything short of the camber part. You want resistance in the down AND up stroke of your shocks.

#4 - On the road there is no way that you could have pushed your Z24 to it's handling limits. Primarily for 2 reasons, the first being I can't think of any situation that would call for it, and the second being that your tires would be the limiting factor in this case, and the stock (What are they, 185s, 195s?) tires will have nowhere near the kind of grip you'd need.

#5 - I gotta go finish building a shed in my backyard, brb.

umm z24 are u serious.. why are u even bothering argueing about a chevrolet cavalier.. if my car ever had a car accident with yours, i would run over it and crush it like a bug. atleast cadillacs are made from really strong steel and are very safe, cadillacs run shit!, im from NY if you pull up with a modded Cavalier upto any corner, people will laugh at you, it simply has no class. period. Its like having a moped, its really fun to ride when no one else is looking at you riding it, but when u compare it to a sports bike and start pretending your moped is a sports bike, people laugh. Im not trying to diss you, just think you need to think for a moment about what you are trying to do.

well, excellent point.. are u an accredited accountant?or do you know my financial situation? judgements based on ignorance and pure imagination ( or ASSUMPTIONS), are what are known as shit talking.

As far as paying for your own car goes. Its nice that you are proud of it, just understand that other people also work for their money, and they buy things which are nicer than what you buy... just because they have something nicer than you, doesnt mean you need to have to pretend that are work harder and you are less appriciated. If you are unhappy about your job, or just lacking advancement oppurtunity, a good idea would be to go to college ( state college or what you people call university) or regional college, either way you will be able to afford more things, but as far as your cavalier goes, its just a beater car until you grow up, and you prob love it, but dont compare it to anything that its not.

Tamir, if you actually want to start comparing modified cars to modified cars, there is simply no point. The winner is the one with the bigger bank account.

And why do you not even try to argue even ONE of my points in my posts? You just go off on tangents about other new points that you want me to argue, and I do.

And yep, Google really helps me when I'm building, tuning, driving, restoring & maintaining $70,000-$200,000 cars.

But hey, you'd probably do a better job than me at that right, since you do drive a Cavalier and all...
