I thought I loved her, she thought she loved me. Then we realized it was just lust.

But you know what, I now understand - love is not "something" - its a feeling you kind of convince yourself of. You can "fall in love" after a day, a week, a month, a year, or never. I thought it was love, but it wasn't - though it felt so right when I told her that I loved her, and for 2 months I could think of nothing but her - which is the reason I did so badly on my exams, because they seemed such a waste of time when I could be with her

So I guess it was either that I was in love and fell out of love, or the more likely explanation, that I thought I was in love but in reality I just convinced myself that I was, and I was happy without naming the feeling, and just understood - I want to be with her.

And I'm completly over my ex now, we're just friends, and I don't regret being with her or telling her I loved her or any of that stuff - and my friends even told me "you're not in love, its lust", but hey, as long as I was happy that's all that counted/counts i think.
